Mount Kenya Point Lenana Trek

Nairobi Sirimon Route Point Lenana Chogoria Route
5 Days / 4 Nights 2 – 8 people Challenging Group / Private

The Sirimon-up, Chogoria-down traverse to Point Lenana (4,985 m) — Africa's finest trekking peak, no technical climbing required.

Point Lenana is the third-highest summit on Mount Kenya and the only one reachable without ropes. The Sirimon ascent gives you the gentlest acclimatisation profile on the mountain; descending by Chogoria takes you past the Gorges Valley and Lake Michaelson, comfortably the most beautiful ground on the massif.

Groups are capped at eight, with one guide per four trekkers and a full porter and cook team.

About this price

$1,180 is per person sharing a twin or double room, in USD. Solo travellers pay a single supplement of $260. Rates are held for 30 days from the date we quote you and are subject to availability.

Park fees are set by the relevant wildlife authority and occasionally change without notice; where that happens we pass on the difference at cost and never mark it up. Peak-season dates (July–October and Christmas/New Year) may carry a supplement, which we will always state in writing before you pay. Full terms are in our Terms & Conditions.
