Zanzibar is the standard finale to an East African safari, and it earns the role. Two nights in Stone Town cover the Old Fort, the House of Wonders, the former slave market and the labyrinth of carved doors, plus a spice farm tour that is far more interesting than it sounds.
Then you move to the coast — Nungwi in the north for swimmable water at all tides, or Paje in the east for kitesurfing — for four nights of doing very little.

Arrive Zanzibar
Meet and greet at Abeid Amani Karume airport, transfer to Stone Town. Evening at the Forodhani night market. Overnight.
Stone Town & spice farm
Morning walking tour of Stone Town, afternoon spice farm visit with tasting and lunch. Overnight in Stone Town.
Prison Island → the coast
Boat to Prison Island for the giant tortoises and snorkelling, then transfer to your beach hotel. Overnight.
Beach day
At leisure. Optional dhow cruise, kitesurfing lesson or a Mnemba Atoll dive. Overnight.
Beach day
At leisure. Optional Jozani Forest red colobus excursion or a sunset dhow with seafood. Overnight.
Departure
Breakfast and transfer to the airport for your onward flight.

$1,150 is per person sharing a twin or double room, in USD. Solo travellers pay a single supplement of $284. Children under 12 sharing with two adults pay $790. Rates are held for 30 days from the date we quote you and are subject to availability.
Park fees are set by the relevant wildlife authority and occasionally change without notice; where that happens we pass on the difference at cost and never mark it up. Peak-season dates (July–October and Christmas/New Year) may carry a supplement, which we will always state in writing before you pay. Full terms are in our Terms & Conditions.
