Sheldrick, Giraffe Centre & Karen Blixen Day Tour
Nairobi's four best half-day attractions in one day: orphaned elephants, Rothschild's giraffes, Karen Blixen's house and Kazuri Beads.
This is the classic Nairobi day, and the order matters — the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust only opens to the public for one hour a day, so we start there at 11:00 for the orphaned elephants' feeding and mud bath.
From there it is a short drive to the Giraffe Centre to hand-feed endangered Rothschild's giraffes, then lunch, then Karen Blixen's farmhouse from Out of Africa, and finally the Kazuri Beads women's cooperative.

Full-day Nairobi tour
Pick-up at 10:00. Sheldrick Wildlife Trust for the 11:00 elephant feeding, then the Giraffe Centre. Lunch at a Karen restaurant (own account), then the Karen Blixen Museum and Kazuri Beads. Back at your hotel by 17:00.

$115 is per person sharing a twin or double room, in USD. Solo travellers pay a single supplement. Children under 12 sharing with two adults pay $85. Rates are held for 30 days from the date we quote you and are subject to availability.
Park fees are set by the relevant wildlife authority and occasionally change without notice; where that happens we pass on the difference at cost and never mark it up. Peak-season dates (July–October and Christmas/New Year) may carry a supplement, which we will always state in writing before you pay. Full terms are in our Terms & Conditions.
